Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 2026
LabResult.MD ("we", "our", or "the Site") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you visit labresult.md, how third-party services on the Site handle data, and what choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. What We Collect
LabResult.MD does not collect personal health information. The Site does not ask for accounts, logins, registrations, email sign-ups, or forms of any kind. You can read everything on the Site anonymously.
We do not operate databases of visitor information. We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, lab results, medical histories, or any other personal or health-related data directly from visitors. The only data associated with your visit is what third-party services (described below) automatically collect through cookies and standard web server logs.
2. No Personal Health Data
To be absolutely clear: LabResult.MD does not collect, store, process, or share any personal health information. There are no intake forms, symptom checkers, result calculators, or interactive tools that accept personal data. The Site is a one-way educational resource — you read it, and that is the entire interaction.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website (or a service embedded on a website) places on your device when you visit. They are commonly used to remember your preferences, measure how pages are used, and support advertising.
LabResult.MD itself does not set first-party cookies for tracking. However, third-party services that run on the Site (such as Google AdSense and Google Analytics) may place cookies on your device. These cookies are controlled by those third parties and are subject to their own privacy policies, which are summarized below.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through the browser settings. You can block cookies entirely, delete existing cookies, or set your browser to notify you when cookies are being placed. Blocking cookies may affect how some third-party features work but will not affect your ability to read the educational content on LabResult.MD.
4. Google AdSense
LabResult.MD uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads on the Site. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites on the internet. This is often called interest-based advertising or personalized advertising.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to LabResult.MD and other sites on the internet. LabResult.MD does not control what data Google or its partners collect through these cookies, and we do not have access to the personal information associated with your ad interactions.
For more information about how Google uses data, see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings page at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
5. Analytics
LabResult.MD may use Google Analytics (or a similar, privacy-respecting analytics service) to understand how visitors find and use the Site. When analytics are active, the service collects anonymized usage data such as the pages you visit, how long you stay on a page, your approximate geographic region (country or city level), your browser type and operating system, and the referring site. This data is aggregated and used to improve the content, structure, and performance of the Site.
Analytics data is not linked to your identity. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this data, and we do not combine analytics data with any personal information.
6. Third-Party Links
LabResult.MD links to external websites and sources, including medical references (such as Mayo Clinic, MedlinePlus, PubMed, and Cleveland Clinic) and, in some cases, affiliate partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or data-handling policies of these third-party sites. Clicking a link to an external site means you are leaving LabResult.MD, and you should review that site's own privacy policy before providing any information or interacting with it.
7. Children's Privacy
LabResult.MD is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has interacted with the Site in a way that requires attention, please contact us at [email protected], and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal data is collected about you, the right to request deletion of that data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data.
Because LabResult.MD does not collect personal data directly, most requests under these laws should be directed to the third-party services that handle data through cookies on the Site (primarily Google). You can exercise your rights with Google directly by visiting adssettings.google.com and policies.google.com/privacy.
If you would like to request information about what data (if any) third-party cookies on LabResult.MD may have collected about you, or if you have other privacy-related requests, contact us at [email protected], and we will help direct your request to the appropriate party.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we use, or applicable laws. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how your privacy is protected on LabResult.MD.
10. Contact
